Terms & Conditions
The terms that govern your use of LibreArchive, operated by libre.
1. Who you are contracting with
LibreArchive is provided by libre ("we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using the service, you enter into a binding agreement with libre. If you are using LibreArchive on behalf of a business, you confirm you have the authority to bind that organisation to these terms.
2. Acceptance of these terms
By registering an account, signing in, or continuing to use LibreArchive, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and any policies referenced here. If you do not agree, you must stop using the service.
3. What LibreArchive is
LibreArchive is a personal organisation tool that lets you save links, files and notes into private workspaces and organise them with custom Single Select, Multi Select and Text fields. The free plan lets you try the service; the paid Pro plan (LibreArchive Pro) unlocks unlimited workspaces, unlimited items and larger uploads.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the service. In particular, you must not:
- Use LibreArchive for any unlawful purpose, fraud, spam, or harassment.
- Infringe the intellectual property or privacy rights of others.
- Upload malware, probe, scrape, or attempt to interfere with the security of the service.
- Share your account credentials or allow unauthorised access.
- Attempt to circumvent technical limits, quotas, or billing controls.
5. Your account and content
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. You retain ownership of the links, notes and files you save. You grant libre a limited licence to host, store and process your content solely to provide LibreArchive to you.
6. Intellectual property
LibreArchive, its software, design, branding and documentation are owned by libre and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service within your selected plan. You may not reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the service.
7. Service level
We strive to keep LibreArchive available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Features, limits and availability may change as we improve the service.
8. Payments, billing and the Merchant of Record
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
Payment, billing, tax, subscription renewals, cancellations and refund mechanics for LibreArchive Pro are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms, available at paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms. For our refund policy, see the Refund Policy.
9. Subscriptions
LibreArchive Pro is offered as a monthly plan ($12/month) and a yearly plan ($79.99/year). Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the billing portal; access continues until the end of your current billing period.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these terms, fail to pay for a Pro subscription, or create a security or fraud risk. You may close your account at any time. On termination, your content may be deleted after a reasonable grace period.
11. Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, libre disclaims all implied warranties. Our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the six months preceding the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud or where the law does not allow it.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where libre is established. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, unless you are a consumer entitled to your local mandatory rights.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the service or by email. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
14. Contact
Questions about these terms can be sent to libre through the support channels available in your account or via Paddle support at paddle.net.
